Welcome to Zaapt

Zaapt is a new CMS written by Andy Chilton using Perl/Mason with a PostgreSQL backend.

At the moment, Zaapt is still in it's infancy though there are already live sites using it. The two demonstration sites are (Zaapt and Zaapt Simple) with more, hopefully, coming soon.

Kiwi Writers also uses Zaapt but the one big difference between this one and the two demo sites is that is that one has real live users that can login and do things - like post on the forums. There are many administrators and plenty more users all using it and so far (fingers crossed) it's working and working well.

As a demonstration of what Zaapt can do, head over there or either of the demonstration sites and take a look around. In fact, if you're a writer, sign up to Kiwi Writers and get involved. There are many things happening and also demonstrates the power of Zaapt.

For now, remember to take a look around here. Take in the News, read the FAQs (it's a bit silly) or even read a bit more about Zaapt. More information will be published soon and more content models are planned and will be added soon so that this site can use and test them :-)
